Detailed Itinerary for Komodo Expeditions

Bali to Bali  9 nights

DAY ONE                 BALI

Immediately after the guests have embarked, the ship will leave Benoa Harbor and steam towards our first dive site.  An orientation on all the ship’s procedures will be giving while sailing into the sunset pending arrival to our first destination off the coast of Sumbawa Island.

DAY TWO                 MOYO NATIONAL PARK            

Arrive early morning to the shores of the stunning Moyo National Park. Breakfast will be served before diving and you may just witness one of the whale sharks spotted in the area A half day will be spent diving these magnificent dive sites.   Expect healthy reef life and a great place for your first dives.

DAY THREE                        SANGEANG – BANTA

The ship arrives early morning in one of the most beautiful islands on our trip.  Depending on conditions we dive either the South or North of Sangeang Island. Either a whole day can be spent at this spectacular dive site or the ship will be moved to Banta Island where there is fantastic night diving. 

DAY FOUR               KOMODO ISLAND

Early in the morning, we will begin our breathtaking walk of Komodo Island to see the infamous dragons.  Usually a few hours is spent on shore viewing the dragon and we are back in the water by noon.  We will dive at the famous Pink Beach and other exciting dive sites such as Padar  in the Komodo Island region as well. 

DAY FIVE                 SOUTH KOMODO/RINJA

Our morning begins in South Komodo at Toro Longkoi, home to the famous Manta cleaning station.  With a 99% success rate to witness the mantas, you will marvel at these graceful creatures as they circle around and around you  During lunch, we will steam to Horseshoe Bay and we will spend half days diving in these stunning reefs. 

DAY SIX                    GILI LAWAH LAUT/LAWAH DARAT

You will explore the warm waters of the parks northernmost islands all the time cruising westwards towards on our return journey. This is another day of diving and eating and we will start our journey back west while eating dinner.

DAY SEVEN                        BANTA/SANGEANG ISLAND

DAY EIGHT  NORTH WEST SUMBAWA

To begin your dive day, you will arrive early morning to the enchanting islands of Satonda. Breakfast will be served before spending a full day in this region. You will have ample opportunity to dive all the magnificent sites. Lunch will be served in between dives. Cruising to the West with the sun setting in front of the ship you will pass the dormant volcanic island of Satonda where the twilight skies hold a rare surprise.

DAY NINE                Tulamben

Famed for it’s Liberty ship wreck, you will enjoy the incredible view of Bali’s Mt. Agung as well as an exceptional array of very tame marine life.Kararu also takes you to the latest hot spots, such as Seraya Secrets.  After the afternoon dive your equipment will be washed by our experienced crew and hung out to dry while you take the opportunity to off-gas and share the stories and adventures of the cruise while heading into the sunset towards the south of Bali.           

DAY TEN  SOUTH BALI

The ship will arrive at 6:00 AM in Benoa Harbor, South East Bali.  You will be served breakfast and afterwards prepare for disembarkation.  At 9:00 AM, you will be transferred to your next destination.
